I lost my shoe at the Gwen Stefani concert
I had a great time at the show - I have been a Gwen fan since the mid 90's. So, imagine my excitement when I got 3rd row tix to see her and her Harajuku girls recently. As soon as I got the tickets I knew I needed a great outfit. I started off with a good base - leopard print pumps from Ann Taylor. I knew I should not have paid over $100 for a pair of not so practical shoes but I could not resist. I wore those shoes with pride and they were a hit at the bar (pre-show). The concert was amazing but by the end of the night my toes were experiencing pain like never before. So, I thought it would be a good idea to take them off while running to my friend’s car - even though it was about 15 degrees out and freezing rain was falling. I got safely to the car and I didn't realize until it was too late that one of my shoes had fallen. Luckily, one of my friends had snapped a picture of me in my Gwen outfit and the shoe in question was visible. I proceeded to get my film from my one-time-use camera developed STAT and quickly put together one of the best scrapbook layouts I have ever created. I just knew I bought that leopard print paper 12 months ago for a reason. It helped me get over the loss of my favorite shoe. If you see it around, please let me know. I did post an ad on craigslist but to date I have not yet received any responses. Should I up the reward from $20 to $40?
